Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use Hous. That means booking a clean, managing your plan, applying to clean and working through Hous. This statement says how well our website does that today, what doesn't work well yet, and other ways to do anything.

The standard we aim for. We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We haven't had our website independently tested yet, so we don't claim that it fully meets it.

What we aim for

• Buttons, links and other controls are at least 44 pixels across, on phones and computers.
• You should be able to zoom text up to 200% without losing content.
• If you've asked your device to reduce motion, our pages keep movement to a minimum.
• Pages for cleaners are available in English, Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese, Polish and Bulgarian.

What doesn't work well yet

• Maps of a cleaner's area can't be used with a screen reader. The same information is given in words beside the map.
• Card details, and a cleaner's payment details, are entered in forms run by Stripe, which we don't control.
• Signing in needs a link we send by email. If that's hard for you, call us and we'll help.
• Pages in languages other than English are marked as English, so a screen reader may read them in the wrong voice.

Other ways to do things. If something on our website doesn't work for you, we'll help you do it another way. Customers can ask our team to do anything in My Hous for them by phone or email. Customers can call 020 3983 2455 or email help@hous.london. Cleaners and people applying to clean can email work@hous.london. If you need information in another format, such as large print, ask us and we'll do our best to provide it.

Tell us about a problem. If something on our website is hard to use, email help@hous.london and tell us the page and what happened. We'll reply as soon as we can.

How we checked this. This statement was prepared on 18 October 2026, from our own review of the website. We'll review it at least once a year.
